A woman, who had allegedly promised employment in Poland, was arrested at the BIA while returning from India for defrauding Rs. 13 million.
She was arrested at the arrival lounge by the Immigration and Emigration officials. The Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment received 53 complaints against her. The suspect woman is a 44-year-old resident of Battaramulla.
