World Bank statement on Sri Lanka says “Until an adequate macroeconomic policy framework is in place, the World Bank does NOT plan to offer new financing to Sri Lanka”. WB is concerned about people of SL and are working in coordination with the IMF in advising on appropriate policies to restore economic stability in Sri Lanka.
