The United States has reiterated its assistance to Sri Lanka for the development of a strong and dynamic economy.
This was communicated by the US Ambassador to Sri Lanka Julie Chung, when the Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) Dr. Nandalal Weerashinghe met the US envoy on Friday (10).
Posting on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), the US Ambassador stated that the discussion was focused on bilateral ties, debt restructuring, and ongoing reforms.
Furthermore, she has underscored the need for good governance and transparency as the United States continues supporting the development of a strong and dynamic Sri Lankan economy.
