The University Non-Academic Staff have decided to call off their trade union action, temporarily, after striking for 75 days.
The Joint Committee of University Trade Unions launched the strike to protest a 15% salary reduction and the lack of an increase in the monthly allowance.
In addition, satyagrahas or nonviolent protests also took place opposite some universities.
