Trains services to Colombo will operate as usual. CTB strike called off #July9th

Update : Train services will resume as usual after police curfew is lifted at 8.00 am today (09).

SLTB trade unions call off the strike following discussions and buses will function as usual today.

Sri Lanka Railways announces that train services to Colombo from other destinations will not operate on July 9th. Meanwhile, Sri Lanka Transport Board (CTB) employees declared an island wide strike requesting fuel for their staff from July 8.

Citizens are planning to launch massive protest march in Colombo on July 9 demanding President Gotabaya Rajapaksa to step down.
