There is NO truth in the news of increasing fuel prices tonight – Minister
Energy Minster Udaya Gammanpila says that there is NO truth in the news circulating, of increasing fuel prices tonight. “There is no truth in the rumor of fuel price increase tonight” tweets the Minister. On February 6th, Lanka IOC has increased the price of a litre of diesel by Rs 3 and a litre of 92 LP by Rs 7.
Meanwhile, Energy Minster Udaya Gammanpila says that Fuel Price Formula will be implemented again. The relevant formula already drafted and will be submitted to Cabinet on February 21. The present government removed the fuel price formula introduced by previous government.
