The sun is going to be directly over the latitudes of Sri Lanka during 05th to 15th of April in this year. The nearest areas of Sri Lanka over which the sun is overhead today (06th) are Lellopitiya, Balangoda, Bulathsinhala, Kalthota and Wadduwa at about 12:12 noon.
The sun will be directly overhead in the aforementioned areas, leading to temperatures exceeding 32°C in most places. Health officials urge the public to stay hydrated to avoid dehydration, a common risk during such extreme heat.
