STF arrested a suspect with LSD Synthetic Drug Stamps

Sri Lanka Police Special Task Force (STF) arrested a suspect for the possession of 1100 LSD stamps containing Synthetic Drugs in Horana, Poruwadanda area on June 28. Suspect was arrested during a special raid following an intel tip received by STF.

LSD (lysergic acid diethylamide, also known as acid) stamps soaked on sheets of absorbent paper with colourful designs which is cut into small, individual dosage units in shape of stamps.

The arrestee is aged 37-years old resident of Horana, according to the Police. The suspect to be produced before the Horana Magistrate’s Court June 29. LSD (Lysergic acid diethylamide) is an extremely potent hallucinogen and it is widely used as a recreational drug in many counties around the world.
