Sri Lanka paid the US$ 500 million sovereign bond

Central Bank Governor Ajith Nivard Cabraal says that Sri Lanka has paid the a 500 million USD sovereign bond that matured on January 18.

Central Bank Governor Ajith Nivard Cabraal said that Sri Lanka will honour it’s debts and says are now adjusting debt portfolios. He added that end of March the bank will announce a new program for next 9 months.
