Police seek public assistance to identify suspects burning of President’s residence

Sri Lanka Police seek public assistance to identify the persons who forcibly entered the President’s private residence at 5th Lane Colombo on 09 July and damaged its property and later burnt it.

The Police Criminal Investigation Department CID has started investigations regarding the rioters who broke into President Ranil Wickremesinghe’s private residence at 5th Lane Colombo during the protests on July 9 and set fire to the official residence and damaged other properties.
