According to COVID19 Vaccine rollout tracking, So far more than 16.5 million first doses of the coronavirus vaccines have been administered in Sri Lanka. More than 77% of the total population in Sri Lanka have been administered with at least 1 dose.
Over 13.8 million second doses of the coronavirus vaccines have been administered in Sri Lanka. More than 65% of the total population in Sri Lanka have been administered with two dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
Health Officials say that approximately 80% of the country’s population over the age of 12 years has been vaccinated with both doses of Covid-19 vaccines.
So far more than 5 million booster doses of the coronavirus vaccines have been administered in Sri Lanka. In Sri Lanka only about 31% of the target population have taken the booster. (LankaXpress.com)
