Sri Lanka bans single-use polythene and plastic products

Sri Lanka cabinet decided to ban 7 one-off use plastic and polythene products from June 1st 2023.

Straws, spoons, forks, knives, yogurt spoons, plastic string hopper trays, plastic garlands, and plastic cups will be added to the list.
