A team of China’s Sinopec officials & technical experts visited Sri Lanka to finalize the agreements & commencement of operations for retail fuel sales.
The team met the officials at the ministry to discuss on a timeline, conditions on the agreement & other concerns. It was decided to sign the agreements by mid May & commence operations 45 days from signing. Officials from MOPE, CBSL, BOI, CPC & CPSTL participated.
