Sandun Arosha Fernando appoints as Deputy Director of PMD Fact check

Journalist Sandun Arosha Fernando has been appointed as Deputy Director of President’s Media Division ( Fact check). Also he will be appointed as Deputy Director of President’s Media Division ( English Editorial).

He is the Co-Founder of Citizen Fact Check and earlier worked as Editor In Chief at Citizen.lk & Helakuru News Service. Also Arosha, who started his media career at Vidusara paper in 2011, worked as a news producer for Siyatha and Hiru TV channels.

” I will share my expertise with the relevant stakeholders in the Sri Lankan government to tackle the Mis/Disinformation related to the development & public welfare projects” he told after the appointment.
