Acting President Ranil Wickramasinghe instructed Justice Minister Wijayadasa Rajapaksa to coordinate all activities for the release of Ranjan Ramanayake who is in prison.
The Acting President has given relevant instructions to the Minister of Justice as per the request made by the Members of Parliament Harin Fernando and Manusha Nanayakkara from the Acting President.
The Acting President has said to prepare the necessary documents and hand them over to the Attorney General and the Chief Justice.
According to this, Ranjan Ramanayake will be freed very soon, said Harin Fernando, Member of Parliament.
