Prime Minister NOT made a decision to increase salaries of government employees

Sri Lanka Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has NOT made a decision to increase salaries of public sector employees. An interim Budget will provide relief, while reducing allocations to all Ministries expect for health and education.

Contrary to media reports, the Prime Minister has not made a decision to increase the salaries of public sector employees.
