Government Printer Ganga Kalpani Liyanage said the printing of nomination and deposit bond papers required for the upcoming Presidential election has been successfully completed.
She said all necessary papers for submitting nominations and depositing bonds have been printed and are ready for distribution.
She added that the printed papers were formally handed over to the Election Commission yesterday morning.
In addition to the printing of nomination papers, Ganga Kalpani Liyanage said that the gazette notification concerning the appointment of election officials has also been forwarded for scrutiny.
She said that the gazette notification will be officially published either today or by tomorrow
