Presidential, Parliamentary elections will be held next year: President tells Parliament

Both the Presidential and Parliamentary elections will be held next year, President Ranil Wickremesinghe announced today.

He told Parliament that the Provincial Council and Local Government elections could be held in 2025.

“I will not postpone any of the elections,” he said.
