Six individuals, among them the popular local singer K. Sujeewa, have sustained injuries in a shooting incident in the Athurugiriya town. According to the Police Spokesperson’s Office, all six persons have been hospitalized, with four of them receiving medical care at the Homagama Hospital and the remaining two undergoing treatment at Athurugiriya Hospital.
