NPP secures resounding victory in Colombo district postal voting

The National People’s Power secured another resounding victory, with 80% of the Postal votes in the Colombo district. 

With a total of 28,475 votes, the NPP secured a margin of more than 25,000 votes over the Samagi Jana Balawegaya, who received 2,985 postal votes. 

The New Democratic Front took the third-most votes with 1,814 votes, 5.11% of the total valid votes.
