No Power Cut Today

Power cuts will not be imposed today as the electricity demand can be met with available capacity, Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) Chairman Janaka Ratnayake said. 

According to the Chairman, the demand for electricity is less during weekends.

He also urged the public to use electricity sparingly.
