No Information On 121 Sri Lankans In Ukraine – Russia War

121 Sri Lankans involved in the Ukraine – Russia War remain unaccounted for.

Parliamentarian Gamini Valeboda disclosed that the death toll of Sri Lankans involved in the Ukraine – Russia War has tragically risen to 17, with 71 individuals currently receiving medical treatment. 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has initiated an investigation into the involvement of Sri Lankan citizens in the Russia-Ukraine conflict. 

A comprehensive concept paper outlining the responsibilities, mission, and tasks of the committee that was appointed to probe into the matter. has been conveyed to the Russian government through the Sri Lankan mission in Moscow.

The committee is led by the Sri Lankan Ambassador to Russia.
