President Ranil Wickremesinghe has appointed Professor W. M. T. Madhujith to the position of Vice Chancellor of the University of Peradeniya.
The appointment has been made in terms of Section 34(1)(a) of the Universities Act, for a period of three (03) years, the President’s Media Division (PMD) said.
This appointment will be in effect from August 01, 2024, according to the PMD.
