MP Rishad Bathiudeen’s vehicle involved in road accident

The vehicle in which former Minister Rishad Bathiudeen was traveling has reportedly been involved in a road accident in the Karuwalagaswewa area today (13).

The incident has occurred when a cyclist had abruptly entered the road, causing the SUV in which the former Minister was travelling to veer off the road in an attempt to avoid a collision, the police said.

The vehicle has reportedly sustained minor damages in the incident.

Karuwalagaswewa Police is conducting further investigations regarding the accident.
