Puttalam District MP Ali Sabry Raheem has been granted bail after being produced before the Puttalam Magistrate’s Court today (20).
The Puttalam Acting Magistrate has ordered the MP to be released on a surety bail of Rs. 200,000 and also to appear before court on 22 July, Ada Derana reporter said.
The parliamentarian, against whom a warrant had been issued recently, was arrested this morning after he appeared before the Kalpitiya Police.
