Update – Power and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekara says that Petrol will not be available for the next 2 days, therefore request the public NOT to remain in queues.
The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation says that the supply of petrol will be restricted on May 18. This decision has been taken due to the limited stocks of petrol owned by the Corporation.
CEYPETCO requests the public not to wait in line at petrol stations May 18 to obtain Petrol except as a matter of urgency. However, the CPC further stated that the distribution of Petrol will be normal from May 19th Thursday.
