President Ranil Wickramasinghe says that by the coming year, there will be customers in the country who will be able to buy vehicles again.
President Ranil Wickramasinghe said that a country cannot be developed by popular decisions and that he believes that all political leaders will take unpopular but favorable difficult decisions for the future of the country.
The President also mentioned that the imposition of taxes was done knowing the difficulties faced by the people of the country and that decision had to be taken for the sake of maintaining the country’s economy, but soon it will be possible to provide relief to the people.
President Ranil Wickramasinghe said this at the launch of the Hyundai Grand i10 car assembled for the first time in Sri Lanka today (10) at the Colombo City Center.
The belief that the country’s economy will recover very soon is confirmed by the introduction of a brand new vehicle in the Sri Lankan market at a time like this. The president said.
“We have taken many steps to build the country’s economy. And it has been possible to reach an agreement with the IMF. Negotiations are underway with the Paris Club, India and China. We are working to resolve the differences between them”
Accordingly, there is no doubt that there will be a group of consumers in the country who will be able to buy cars again in the next few months and there will be more economic progress than this.
