A five storied commercial building under construction 02 km away from the Katugastota junction on the Kandy-Kurunegala Road has suddenly collapsed this evening, National Disaster Management Centre announced.
In view of this the National Disaster Management Centre requests the public to refrain from plying heavy vehicles on the Katugastota-Kurunegala road until further notice. No fatalities were reported due to the incident.
