The examination will be held at 2,943 examination centres island-wide while 340,508 students expected to sit for the examination. Accordingly, 255,062 students will face the examination in the Sinhala stream while 85,446 students will sit for the exam in the Tamil stream.

The Grade Five Scholarship examination will begin January 22 with full focus on the safety of children in the face of the prevailing Covid situation in the country.
