Govt secured payments for an LP Gas consignment

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe in tweet says that the government has secured payments for an LP Gas consignment which will be unloaded and distributed as early as possible. A LP gas cargo ship anchored in Sri Lankan waters and awaiting payment.

Currently Sri Lanka is experiencing both Laugfs and Litro gas shortage in the market. Long queues report at gas collection points island-wide. Litro Gas says, the LP gas will be provided only for the industries due to the shortage.
