Possible Gas Price Increase amidst soaring global prices

In response to the surge in global gas prices, LITRO Gas Lanka Ltd’s Chairman, Muditha Peiris, declared that the domestic gas price in Sri Lanka is set to undergo a revision. The announcement comes as the world market’s metric ton of gas experienced a staggering increase of over USD 85.

The domestic gas price revision is expected to be release on August 4th morning. The price of a 12.5 KG Gas Cylinder reduced by Rs 204 on July 4th and the new price of a 12.5 KG gas cylinder was Rs. 2982.
