French President extended an invitation to President Ranil Wickremesinghe to address panel discussion

President Emmanuel Macron of the French Republic has extended an invitation to President Ranil Wickremesinghe to address a high-level panel discussion at the Global Leaders Summit for a New Global Financing Pact, scheduled to take place in Paris on June 22nd and 23rd, 2023.

President Ranil Wickremesinghe is scheduled to visit France and the United Kingdom (UK) next week and will meet the Paris Club creditors during his stay in order to discuss Sri Lanka’s debt crisis.
