Earthquake struck off the Southeast coast of Sri Lanka

An 5.8 magnitude earthquake struck off the Southeast coast of Sri Lanka, however there’s no impact to the island says Geological Survey and Mines Bureau.

A deep sea tremor that took place 1,200 km away from the South-eastern coast of Sri Lanka was felt in areas such as Colombo, Battaramulla, Akuressa and Galle : Geological Survey and Mines Bureau.
