Cable car project between Pattipola and Boralanda

Sri Lanka President Ranil Wickremesinghe instructs officials during the Nuwara Eliya District Development Committee Meeting held this morning (22), to commence construction of a cable car project between Pattipola and Boralanda to view Worlds End.

World’s End is located within the Horton Plains National Park and it is a sheer cliff, with a drop of about 4,000 feet (1,200 m). It is one of the most visited parts of the Park, and a key tourist attraction.
