University Grant Commission UGC Chairman Prof. Sampath Amaratunga says that the 2022 A/L Z score cut-off marks will be released before November 30. “Z-score cutoff marks will be released during November,” said the UGC Chairman. Accordingly, Zscore cut-off marks will be released to UGC official website www.ugc.ac.lk.
Based on the results of A/L examination, the number of students to be admitted to the state universities is about 45,000.
The UGC Chairman says that the UGC University Admission Handbook is now released and available at main bookshops islandwide. Students can also purchase the handbook online for Rs. 1000 via UGC website. Students can purchase the handbook and can apply via online from September 14. The results of the 2022 (2023) G.C.E. Advanced Level examination have been released online on September 4. Out of a total of 263,933 candidates, 166,938 (63.3%) have qualified to apply for the universities.
