2022 GCE O/L examination results will be released before November 30, 2023 according to the Examinations Department. The G.C.E. Ordinary Level examination 2022 commenced on May 29 and lasted till June 8 at 3,568 exam centres island-wide, with 472,553 candidates sat for the exams.
The Commissioner General of Examinations, Amith Jayasundara says that the results of GCE O/L – 2022 will be released during November. He didn’t mention the exact release date of the results.

2022 A/L candidates who are also sitting for the 2022 A/L Exam can apply online from September 1st to 8th. Due dates to apply for re-correction A/L results will be announced later.

Sri Lanka Examinations Commissioner General Sanath Pujitha told to LankaXpress news that exact results releasing date cannot be predict with this prevailing situation.
“So far practical exams not done, Works related to releasing O/L results going on, but we cannot say exact dates as things change with pandemic situation. if things were normal we could have released results in June month” he told to LankaXpress.

According to the UGC sources, 2020 A/L Zscore cut-off marks will be release July month end. Z-score cutoff marks will be released to UGC official website www.ugc.ac.lk. A total of 40,000 candidates will be allowed to enter state universities, according to the University Grants Commission. Earlier Sri Lanka Education Minister said GCE A/L Exam results release April month end but later said results will be released before May 5th.
Meanwhile 2021 A/L Exam has been postponed and will begin from October 4th – 30th. G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination for the year 2021, which was scheduled for August, has been postponed to October, says the Sri Lanka Minister of Education Prof. G.L. Peiris. Higher education Ministry sources says that the students who qualified for the 2020/2021 University Academic year based on 2020 A/L results will be admitted before the end of 2021. 2020 A/L Exam was delayed and was held on October month due to coronavirs pandemic in the country.
