Sri Lanka Examinations Department has called for applications from schools students and private applicants hoping to sit this year’s Advanced Level examination. Candidates are advised to apply online from July 7th to July 28.

The Examinations Department has requested private applicants to access the website of the Examinations Department on www.doents.lk or www.onlineexams.gov.eic and complete the application form and keep a printed copy with them for submission in case of need.
For those who might miss the deadline due to waiting for the 2022 GCE Advanced Level examination results or intending to attempt the exam for the second or third time (2nd-shy, 3rd-shy), there will be a provision to submit applications at a later date.
The Examinations Department has allowed the candidates who apply for second or third time for the examination to submit their applications also. Candidates eager to sit for the exam for the second or third time will be given the opportunity to apply for the examination.

The G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination 2023 will be held from November 27 to December 21 says Minister of Education Susil Premajayantha.
2023 A/L Exam subjects and the relevant timetable with dates have NOT been released so far. The timetable will release to the examination department’s official www.doenets.lk website.
2022 GCE Advanced Level (A/L) examination results will be released by August 15 (mid-August).
