A 72-year-old male has been arrested by police for the possession of several firearms and ammunition rounds at Akmeemana.  

A 72-year-old male has been arrested by police for the possession of several firearms and ammunition rounds at Akmeemana.  

The suspect has been arrested by the Western Province (South) Crimes Division of Sri Lanka Police.

He has been taken into custody over the possession of a pistol, a revolver, a repeater shotgun, an air rifle and 49 rounds of shotgun ammunition, police said.
