Dutch-Born Police Dogs Welcomed as 13 New Puppies Join Sri Lanka’s Canine Squad

Two English Spaniel police dogs, Tempard and Lea, recently gave birth to 13 healthy puppies. These dogs were imported from the Netherlands and are part of the Police Kennels Division’s latest acquisition.

The division recently expanded its canine unit by acquiring 35 sniffer dogs from the Netherlands at a cost of Rs. 58 million. Both mothers and their puppies are reported to be in good health, marking a successful addition to the police force’s efforts in enhancing security measures. (LankaXpress)
